The Athens OpenBeer IV event on Thursday the 14th of January was a great hit. I couldn’t estimate how many of us where there, due to the fact that many came while others left. The crowd kept on recycling so if you did come and I haven’t included you in this article, please feel free to post it in the blog comments! I will add your name or username later.
For all you that didn’t come, the James Joyce Pub served excellent beer and had great music. All in all we had a great time and the managers of the place offered us FREE finger food if we decided to have another OpenBeer event at their pub! Thanks for that Tom and Mike!!!

As far as the video goes, well unfortunately the James Joyce Pub was a bit too dark and the video did’t come out very well. I figured it would come out dark when I was shooting and that is the reason why I didn’t take a big video this time.

I called the James Joyce Pub and talked to Tom who is in charge and he is expecting all of us there tomorrow for beers! So, just go to the Pub at 12 Astiggos st in Monastiraki after 19:30 and look for us! If you can’t see us there for any reason (you never know, you might be the 1st to be there!!!), just ask for Tom -he is the tall guy- and he will sort you out.

The voting period is over and the results are out! The Athens OpenBeer IV Event, based on your votes, is going to take place at the James Joyce Pub on the 14th of January 2010. The James Joyce Pub is at 12 Astiggos st in Monastiraki (‘Αστιγγος 12, Μοναστηράκι). It is very close to the “Monastiraki” and “Thiseio” Metro stations, so there is easy access. As with last time, the places have been suggested and now it is time for the poll for all of us to vote anonymously for the place we want the AthensOpenBeer IV Event to take place. I feel this time that the poll is not required, but never the less, I have prepared it so you can all cast your votes!

For all you interested, the OpenBeer Event is back! As we did last time, this is stage that we all get to propose a venue for the upcoming OpenBeer IV!

When will it be

The OpenBeer IV event will take place on the 14th of January 2010. The place is still not known, since we haven’t yet voted, but we will soon know!

For all you that don’t know the drill, this is how it goes.

Everyone that has a suggestion for a place (venue), just needs to post it in the comments below. Then I will gather all the answers, and create a poll with them. Once the poll is created you will get to vote on the place and when the place has been chosen, I will announce it here and on FaceBook.

OpenBeer IV

You can post suggestions until the 6th of January 2010 at Midnight! At oo:01 on the 7th, the comments on this page will close. Then, the poll will be created and will remain active until the 10th of January 2010 at Midnight! On the 11th I will post the place and time of the OpenBeer IV event!

I will start by suggesting CRAFT Athens, the place we had the previous OpenBeer Event (the place @AlexiaMac suggested last time), because they have offered one free beer for each attendee and we had a fabulous time! Looking forward to your suggestions!
