Hello, hello, hello! I all want you to know that the next OpenBeer event is going to take place on the 7th of December! Prepare for some serious beer drinking! Post your suggestions in the comments or on our Faceboook fan page that can be found at www.facebook.com/openbeer.

When will the Athens OpenBeer XIII take place?

The next event will take place on the 7th of December 2011! It is a Wednesday.
And now time to make venue suggestions so feel free to share your ideas!

For all you that don’t know the drill…

Please read what is preferable when suggesting a venue below. It is all known to most but maybe somebody hasn’t had a chance to read this before.

In the comments area below, or on our FaceBook fan page you can make suggestions of possible venues to host the next OpenBeer. The suggestions that you all make will be processed and compiled into a Poll. This Poll will be posted here within a new blog post that usually has the word VOTE in the title. We each get to post once in that Poll and one venue is selected. The venue that is selected automatically is announced here and on our FaceBook fan page.

The selected venue is the next OpenBeer host.

You can post suggestions until the 27 of November 2011 at Midnight! At 00:01 on the 28th, the comments on this page will close. Then, the poll will be created and will remain active until the 2nd of December 2011 at Midnight! On the 3rd of December I will post the place and time of the OpenBeer XIII event!

The place you can suggest must:

1. Be in Athens.
2. Be at close proximity to public transport for easy access (Max 500m).
3. Be “friendly” towards our friends with special needs, so not many stairs or no stairs is even better.
4. Be open from 20:00 onwards.
5. Serve Beer! Lot’s of it!!

Offers from previous venues

Below are 4 offers from the OpenBeer III, IV, VIII and XII venues. I am posting them in case you feel like revisiting.

1. After the OpenBeer III event, Craft offered us each a Free Beer!
   
2. After the OpenBeer IV event, the James Joyce Pub, offered free finger food!
3. At OpenBeer VIII Deutsche Ecke offered us each a Free Beer and the rest for only €3!
4. At OpenBeer XII Deutsche Ecke offered us each a Free Beer a chance to win a 5lt barel of beer!

All offers are great and we thank the managers for them. If we take you up on your offers we will let you know guys!

Deutsche Ecke founder Nicola Radisis, only now just contacted me with a great cool offer for all of us to take into consideration. The message was sent to me in Greek so I will present it to you, unchanged as it is. For you that don’t speak Greek, well it is a good offer concerning 5lt of beer and more! Here it is:

Athens OpenBeer XII Offer by Deutsche Ecke and EZA

Ο καθε πελατης του openbeer μονο (κανενας αλλος) θα κοβει ενα χαρτακι με το επωνυμο και το κινητο και mail του ωστε να γινει μια κληρωση για 5lt μπυρα που θα πιει με την παρεα του μια αλλη μερα εφοσον κανει κρατηση απ την προηγουμενη. Με το ιδιο χαρτακι θα πινει μια μπυρα weiss η lager (arcobrau η berlin) των 500ml free. Μετα όλες στην κανονικη τιμη οπως και ολες οι αλλες. Τα χαρτακια δεν συμψηφιζονται και καθε χαρτακι ειναι προσωπικο και αντιστοιχει σε εναν πελατη. Ο πελατης μπορει να χρησιμοποιησει μονο ενα.

Στην κληρωση οι 2-5 θα παρουν δωρακια αναμνηστικα προσφορα της ΕΖΑ. Πελατης χωρις χαρτακι ή στοιχεια στο χαρτακι δεν δικαιουται συμμετοχη ουτε και free μπυρα.

It is official, the Athens OpenBeer XII Event, based on your votes, is going to take place at the DEUTSCHE ECKE on the 28th of September 2011!

Deutsche Ecke is located at 126 Papagou Av. Zografou close to the 8th Zografou bus station for bus 230 and 608 (Λεωφ. Παπάγου 126, Ζωγράφου, πλησίον στάσης λεωφορείου 230 και 608). The good thing is that because of the many students living in the area the buses come by very often.

We will start gathering from 20:00-20:30 and onwards. If you want to RSVP on FaceBook click here.

Keep in mind that the FREE Beer offers as linked to the place that the event is held. This means that since Deutsche Ecke hasn’t made any official offers, there is NO FREE BEER this time… yet.

The voting period is over and the results are out! The Athens OpenBeer XI Event, based on your votes, is going to take place at the Craft Athens bar on the 26th of October 2010 for the 3rd time! For those of you that haven’t been there before, the Craft Athens bar is located at 205 Alexandras Avenue (Λεωφ.Αλεξάνδρας 205, Αθήνα). It is very close to the “Ampelokipi” Metro station, so there is easy access for all. We will start gathering from 20:00-20:30 and onwards. If you want to RSVP on FaceBook click here.
