Dear beer loving friends! The Athens OpenBeer XIII Event, is going to take place at the LOCAL PUB on the 7th of December 2011! The Local Pub is located at 25 Chaimanda in Chalandri (Χαϊμαντά 25, Χαλάνδρι). We will start gathering from 20:00-20:30 and onwards. If you want to RSVP on FaceBook click here. Keep in mind that the FREE Beer offers are linked to the place that the event is held. This means that since The Local Pub hasn’t made any official offers, there is NO FREE BEER this time… yet. Thanks!

Dear Beer Loving Friends,

Hello, hello, hello! I all want you to know that the next OpenBeer event is going to take place on the 7th of December! Prepare for some serious beer drinking! Post your suggestions in the comments or on our Faceboook fan page that can be found at www.facebook.com/openbeer.

When will the Athens OpenBeer XIII take place?

The next event will take place on the 7th of December 2011! It is a Wednesday.
And now time to make venue suggestions so feel free to share your ideas!

For all you that don’t know the drill…

Please read what is preferable when suggesting a venue below. It is all known to most but maybe somebody hasn’t had a chance to read this before.

In the comments area below, or on our FaceBook fan page you can make suggestions of possible venues to host the next OpenBeer. The suggestions that you all make will be processed and compiled into a Poll. This Poll will be posted here within a new blog post that usually has the word VOTE in the title. We each get to post once in that Poll and one venue is selected. The venue that is selected automatically is announced here and on our FaceBook fan page.

The selected venue is the next OpenBeer host.

You can post suggestions until the 27 of November 2011 at Midnight! At 00:01 on the 28th, the comments on this page will close. Then, the poll will be created and will remain active until the 2nd of December 2011 at Midnight! On the 3rd of December I will post the place and time of the OpenBeer XIII event!

The place you can suggest must:

Be in Athens.
Be at close proximity to public transport for easy access (Max 500m).
Be “friendly” towards our friends with special needs, so not many stairs or no stairs is even better.
Be open from 20:00 onwards.
Serve Beer! Lot’s of it!!

Offers from previous venues

Below are 4 offers from the OpenBeer III, IV, VIII and XII venues. I am posting them in case you feel like revisiting.

After the OpenBeer III event, Craft offered us each a Free Beer!
After the OpenBeer IV event, the James Joyce Pub, offered free finger food!
At OpenBeer VIII Deutsche Ecke offered us each a Free Beer and the rest for only €3!
At OpenBeer XII Deutsche Ecke offered us each a Free Beer a chance to win a 5lt barel of beer!
